    Greenville, SC – EnVeritas Group announced today that the company has hired Jennie Fowler as the chief operating officer. She brings nearly 20 years of leadership experience within the business technology and project management fields. Fowler joins the content marketing firm from Acumen IT based out of Greenville, SC where she was the firm’s chief process officer for over two years. Her Strategic Services division within Acumen IT provided cutting edge consulting to businesses.

  • High Return on Branded Content in 2011

    In a recent study done by the Custom Content Council branded content spend reached an all-time high in 2011.

    With publication budgets increasing by 68% in 2011 over 2010, the study noted that 26% of the overall spend was on branded content and 39% of respondents favored electronic content over print and other forms. Interestingly enough, the study did note a significant trend away from traditional marketing to branded content.

    Greenville, SC – The Custom Content Council presented the EnVeritas Group with two Pearl Awards for work the firm did on behalf of its client, Carlson. The Pearl Awards celebrate excellence in custom content, across print, digital and other media platforms. Custom content providers both small and large, which produced B2B and B2C programs across multiple outlets, submitted a record 638 entries in 30 categories.

    At the recent Power of eMarketing Conference in Providence, Rhode Island, the EVG team attended a session with Chris Baggott CEO and Co-Founder of Compendium.

    The session addressed the importance of blogging for companies, and more specifically how it can help attract customers via relevant content.

    Baggott began the session by discussing how the first generation of bloggers mostly talked about their interests, while the second generation moved into more thoughtful blogging.

  • InterContinental Hotels Group Invests in Improved Websites

    Recently one of our clients, InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), introduced what it calls the “most powerful website guarantee ever by a global travel company”. The new guarantee ensures that guests who find a qualifying, lower room price for an IHG hotel elsewhere online will receive both a price match for the length of their stay and their first night free.
